Treasure maze: the map is the maze. START is the beach. FINISH is the chest. X is not marked in the middle because that would spoil a one-path puzzle. The chest waits at the bottom opening. Pirates still cannot walk through wooden walls. If your child wants an eye patch, fine, but keep the pencil honest. This adventure theme helps kids who like stories more than abstract grids. Narrate a tiny danger at dead ends, then reverse. Print on letter paper and maybe clip it to cardboard like a real map. After they finish, they can draw a simple key beside FINISH. Do not hide the original path with too many extra doodles. The treasure is the solved line. Save it in a folder called quests with the castle maze. A small series feels like a campaign.
