Robot maze is a factory floor. START is the charging dock. FINISH is the parts window. The robot may only roll through open gates. Kids who like gears and buttons often prefer this to floral pages, so keep it in the mix. The grid is themed-medium, not the hard numbered set. If they want more challenge later, send them to hard maze one. For now, one honest path is enough. Talk about debugging: a dead end is a bug you already found. Back up and try the other branch. That language transfers to real building toys. Print clearly; faint walls make robots cheat. After the line hits FINISH, they can name the robot in the margin. Names make the page theirs. Recycle or keep. Either way, they practiced careful turning, which is useful for handwriting too.
