Left-handed kids sometimes smear pencil mazes. This sheet still works: start at the top and travel mostly downward so the heel of the hand stays off wet graphite. Rotate the paper if that helps. The walls are thick enough to see through a light smear. This is still one of the printable mazes for kids easy in the four-to-seven band, not a trick puzzle. Count how many dead ends you visit and treat that number as a curiosity, not a grade. Print two copies and let siblings compare routes; they should match if both solved honestly, because a perfect maze has a single path between START and FINISH. That fact surprises some adults. Let the child explain it. Explaining is extra practice.
