Some kids want dinosaurs. Some want a sky of simple stars they can color in five minutes. This folder cover is a field of original burst-stars — not a trademarked sky — with lines for subject, name, and teacher. Tape it on. It photocopies clean in black and white if a teacher needs extras. Use gold and silver crayons if you have them; cheap crayons work. Pair it with the dinosaur cover so siblings do not fight over the same animal. Print two: one for school, one for the papers that accumulate on the kitchen table until Friday. Color five stars or all of them; both count. Write the subject large. Contact paper helps if the backpack is a weather event. Original art, free for a classroom set, no licensed constellations.
